Stuck for names so thought this might be a fun was of getting inspiration. The clever pretty girl at my school who was also nice to people, basically a fab all rounder, was Abby.

Alex.

But actually, she grew up to be rather dumpy, "posh" and horsey.

Rebecca (Becky) and Vicky. And another Angela who was all those things but far too modest about it.

Felicity and Suzy

Secondary: Sarah, she is still lovely, child psychologist.

I went to many primaries, and as much as I remember... erm... Helen, Jane, Clarissa, Marcia, Keeley.

I don't think there was one who met all 3 criteria but,

clever and pretty - Kate
pretty and popular - Sally-Anne
popular and clever - Jane

Jane was also v pretty when I saw her in our early 20's.

I know a teenager now who seems to fit all 3 though, she's a Holly.

Susan. She had amazing hair - naturally white-blonde and suntanned skin and bright blue eyes. We all wanted to be her friend!

Having known 4 quite well, I can categorically state that there is no such thing as a nice, pretty or clever Alison. (Not really, but it's a 100% hit rate in my experience).

Lynsey and Lorraine

Meanwhile, the class bullies were Emma, Sharon, and Kimberley

I honestly cannot for the life of me remember anyone who was the clever pretty girl at school. I have no memories whatsoever of categorising anyone like that! How strange.

Perhaps me and my fellow patchouli scented, Indian bangle-wearing, Save The Whales campaigning rather intense very best friend were oblivious to all that other stuff at school going on around us?

She was called Catharine by the way.

JiltedJohnsJulie · 10/04/2015 21:28

Lucy.

treaclesoda · 10/04/2015 21:31

It was Stephanie in my school. Stephanie was from a wealthy family, was smart and was tall, willowy and beautiful. A couple of years above there was another similar girl, blessed with everything. She was called Stephanie as well. Smile

I am still jealous of her brilliant colouring skills and caran d'ache pencils
