Stuck for names so thought this might be a fun was of getting inspiration. The clever pretty girl at my school who was also nice to people, basically a fab all rounder, was Abby.

Lost touch with them both as I was clever but not pretty.

Sian was all of these (pretty, but not beautiful though).
Pamela was not very clever but very beautiful and kind.
Ruth was clever and sporty - earthy looking and kind.
Sarah was a good all rounder, along with Sue.
Doreen was stick thin, ugly and not in the least clever and very unkind.
Secondary school - about 1983!

Angela.
The name suited her so well, she really lit up the room and she couldn't see it for herself. Don't know what happened to her...

A girl who sticks in my mind was the headgirl, extremely clever, beautiful without trying and such a lovely person. She is called Haley.

Joy probably - was popular, pretty and nice - not the cleverest in the class but not thick either.

Cleverest wasn't pretty or nice.

Prettiest wasn't nice either or clever

There was plenty of clever, popular and pretty girls- none of them were nice to people though! My best friend was pretty and popular, but she she was only averagely clever.

VirginiaTonic · 09/04/2015 10:13

Sarah, the Chair of Govs daughter was the most popular with the teachers and was always Mary in the Nativity play!

Helen, Sue and Lynn. And thinking about it has made me realise who it is that DS's friend Isabel spookily resembles. I get a sense of weird familiarity every time I meet her am so going to end up calling her Sue now, aren't I?

The cleverest and most popular girl in the year above me died on a zebra crossing in her second year at uni. So perhaps best not say that name Hmm

In my year it was probably Holly.
