For DC4 - DD1 ETA June Grin

DS's have shortened three letter names - like Joe, Sam

Pearl is my favourite but I am wobbling a bit now DP has said he likes it - why?! Its been my favourite for so long!

I love both. I prefer Beatrix though (it's dd's middle name) and you can shorten it to Bea which is incredibly cute Grin

Beatrix nn Bea is fabulous

DramaAlpaca · 08/04/2015 12:06

Beatrix is great.

Not a fan of Pearl, personally, but if you both like it just go for it, that's the name for you.

Treaclepie19 · 08/04/2015 18:39

I'd go for Beatrix, it's on our list :)

Lunastarfish · 08/04/2015 20:29

yI prefer Pearl although I like Trixie as a nn for Beatrix.

glittertits · 08/04/2015 20:33

I prefer Pearl. The X on Beatrix is harsh, and I much prefer Beatrice.

Another vote for Beatrix nn Bea! I'm really sorry to say this but Pearl sounds a little bit like a stripper's name to me. It sounds cute for a little girl but I can't imagine the CEO of a company being called Pearl IYSWIM, sorry...

Prefer Beatrix/Beatrice, nn Bea.

Not keen on Pearl at all. Reminds me of Pearl & Dean.

applecatchers36 · 08/04/2015 21:30

Much prefer Pearl.

Beatrice/Beatrix has two many royal young lady wearing bad hat connotations...

Rhubarbgarden · 09/04/2015 20:22

Pearl. There are Beas everywhere.
