Surname is also only one syllable so hoping for a lengthy-ish name - any ideas? I like daisy but not sure if that sounds a bit of a 'dippy' name!

We went with Elizabeth.... she hates it!

Underthedeepblueocean · 03/04/2015 08:52

I'm not sure about Elizabeth - it's always sounded quite 'heavy' to me :)

That's pretty :) but I have an aunt called Margaret who I don't speak to!

A longer name would flow well. Antonia. Constance. Vivienne. Evangelina. Alexandra. Eleanora. Catherine. Henrietta. Georgiana. Francesca.

Underthedeepblueocean · 03/04/2015 10:30

I like some of those but some seem heavy for Skye - henrietta is gorgeous but it is like a beautiful pair of old fashioned velvet curtains. Skye is more like a short cotton sundress Grin

My other first name possibles are Summer, Callia, Astrid - not sure at all!

Don't like Skye Daisy sounds a bit in the Night Gardenesque

ChristmasEveSteve · 03/04/2015 10:38

I think I get your vibe, maybe! Sorrel. Wren. Winter. Tuesday. Easter. Emily. Fay. Leonora. Minerva. Calista. Soraya. Robin. Rowan. Morgana. Athena.

I adore Willow but it doesnt go at all with our surname.

I love your description of Henrietta!

Imo Skye Daisy and Skye Summer are a bit overly nature themed.. Not the worst thing of course if that is what you like, but I much prefer Astrid and Callia (esp Callia)

Underthedeepblueocean · 03/04/2015 10:51

I do like nature names :) my dd1 was born mid April last year and her name is Flora; the Roman goddess of spring NOT margarine!
