I know an Albie. He's about 65 - probably older.
I think it's nice but I'm one of those who'd go for Albert on the birth cert.

It's on the rise in my area (East/home counties) if that bothers you. I think it's a great name though!

i like it but not as a formal name! you could go for Aloysius as his full name and have Alo and Albie as nicknames.

I liked this too but only if it was Albie on the birth certificate. Use the name you want.
