Charlie or Noah?

Was wondering if I could get your thoughts ladies.

I'm 29 weeks pregnant today.

My dad died when I was little. When I had my son I gave him my dad's middle name (Joseph. Joe for short.)

I have a lovely step dad and if I this baby is a boy I would like to give him his middle name which is Charles. (We would call him Charlie)

The only things that are putting me off are my DH really likes the name Noah. Also Charlie is quite common where we live where I don't know any Noah's.

What do I do?

I think both are lovely...and while both very popular, Noah is more quirky so it sticks in your mind more and you rememberer every Noah you meet/hear if you catch my drift...

Charlie Noah... sounds lovely IMO

Didn't think of one as a middle name. Thanks BubEaster Smile

Yup, Charlie Noah or Noah Charlie/Noah Charles are all good.

My favourite would be Noah Charles

Both are nice. Charlie edges it for me. Not sure about Joe and No....rhyming as well, but that may be too picky of me.

Both are popular but Charlie is more classic - Noah will date more imo. Also it's nice both boys have the family linked first name. I went for the former and had the latter on my list for 2 and 3 but they were girls.

Thanks very much for posting. I really appreciate it. After reading your thoughts I think it will probably be Charlie Noah.

Think my step dad will be thrilled to bits.
