Teacher: Maybe what?

It is a shame when a name looks good on paper but doesn't work so well audibly.

I serious want an M named DD so that I can at least nickname it to Maeby.

There are tonnes of girls called Mae about though, that puts me off.

Maeby was the character's nickname - her real name was Mae. Why not use that?

You can not seriously have thought it would be a good idea to name a child "Maybe"?

I know someone who has this as a surname (spelled Mabey) and they found it annoying as a teenager.
