Apparently Jonathan nn Jonty is too ordinary for my DH ...I prefer the word classic. ..and he should have a strong more unusual but not daft name. This is a direct quote. I asked like what and he suggested Flint. Not happening. Please help x

Can he not just be a Jonty?

My friends had a boy last year and called him Jonty Grin

I'm glad you said no to Flint!! Grin

BlueChampagne · 01/04/2015 12:59

Conrad

squoosh · 01/04/2015 13:45

Flint is pretty bad. But then so is Jonty. One's a cowboy, one's a chinless toff.

Franklin? A vague mix of the two.

pilates · 01/04/2015 16:57

Jared or Dexter

Quasilulu · 01/04/2015 19:13

Rory is fairly traditional. Do you not like this one off his list?

With Laurence, the nick name Laurie is much like Rory

Box5883284322679964228 · 03/04/2015 08:42

Ask him if he likes the name Law or Lars or Lance or Larry or Lore or Renny

These are all nicknames for Lawrence
