River - thoughts?

Hi I'm exapecting my 4th son in aug really struggling on names just wondered what ppls thoughts was on name River Boe? My other sons are called Radlea Kai, Harlow Jae and Romani noa (Romany) so I do like unusual thanks

Well, my first thought is of River Song from Doctor Who.

Especially if you spell Boe as The Face Of Boe.

I'd say river is probably perfectly finds in light of the other names.

It fits with your first three. I like River, great name. Boe not so much - sorry - and it sounds a bit like 'Riverboat' run together maybe . If using Boe I would spell Beau, or even Bo. But I'd explore alternative middle names first. Not sure what might work - maybe Pax? Fox? Matching with River is tricky....

I think its better for a girl. Somehow for me doesnt work for boy.

For me river is best used by hippy/ free spirit people. Or I suppose that's what I assume The parents are like. I would be surprised if the parents werent creative types. Anyway- its nice. Makes me think of nice rivers.

I think of River Phoenix, and would expect it for a boy rather than a girl.

I think it is awful though. I dislike hippy names.

I would worry that Harlow would wonder why he was the only brother with a name not beginning 'R'
