Willow or Orla Addy

As title says - Willow or Orla? Surname Addy. (A-d-ee).

Middle name Rose or Lynn - our mums names names.

Neither of those two names works with Addie sorry.

Orla is Orlaith. same name.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you need a name that ends with a consonant. YOu really do.

We know called Willow. She's not at all willowy. She hates it. It only seems to suit a slim person. It just seems to subconsciously draw attention to size.

yes, I agree. Sorry to be cruel but if you're not rake thin, Willow is going to invite that observation.

Orla is the Modern (standard) Irish spelling of the older name Orlaith and the even older Orfhlaith.

I think the A ending of Orla runs into the A of Addy in an unfortunate way.

I like Willow Addy. I think the O ending flows well. However, I think Willow can invite cruel comparison if the bearer of the name isn't svelte. (I think of Nina in the same way for some reason.)
