I love a few names beginning with E, but surname is Mail... Is this an issue or am I being picky??? All opinions please! Hmm

I think it's fab. Dd would have been initials JAW so I added another name and she wishes aged 16 that she had funny initial s

CadmiumRed · 26/03/2015 23:43

You're being picky.

Not.

TRexingInAsda · 26/03/2015 23:46

I'd say no if it was me - unless I massively preferred those names over the others. But tbh it's not the worst thing really, just a bit funny, probably will be pointed out to them in a "humorous" way a few times.

f1fan2001 · 26/03/2015 23:52

Depends if you want your child to be the subject of many a joke?

Saying that my DP has a last name beginning with D and my daughter's initials are ABD, you would not believe how hard it was to not have a second middle name - Catherine, Claire, Chloe? Grin

SouthernComforts · 26/03/2015 23:52

No, no, no.

Not sure emails will still exist in 15 years time, but it's still cruel.

manicinsomniac · 27/03/2015 00:03

I don't think it's the worst thing you could do but, if there are other names you like, I'd probably avoid E.

ShadowStone · 27/03/2015 00:08

I wouldn't.

It's amusing, but the joke would wear thin pretty quickly for little E. Mail.

MrsNuckyThompson · 27/03/2015 00:09

Don't do it

Whitershadeofpale · 27/03/2015 00:24

I wouldn't a lot of email address for companies are first initial surname. It will drive her mad!

CloserToFiftyThanTwenty · 27/03/2015 00:30

Of course not!!

lucysnowe · 27/03/2015 11:47

Crikey yes it would be for eg [email protected] - far too confusing!

GingerCuddleMonster · 27/03/2015 11:51

is the name Google not a option?

because of jokes llike above, I'd avoid it like the plague

MsMittens · 27/03/2015 12:05

I would avoid to be on the safe side

DianeLockhart · 27/03/2015 15:56

Definitely avoid

Elizarome · 29/03/2015 16:03

Could always consider Daily Wink Bad on so many levels!

HighwayDragon · 29/03/2015 20:54

my work email is h.dragon@workplace
