Due a little boy in July, we are going to call him Sandy (Alexander). I liked Ezra but DP isn't keen and I'm not sure it goes with Sandy? Thoughs?

Do you want names to go with Alexander? If so short ones seem to fit well, how about Owen or David?

FiddleDeeDees · 19/03/2015 21:14

I have an Alexander (Sandy) William...

Ezra is a lovely name but not sure it goes that well with Sandy, it has a different sort of vibe. What is your DP suggesting...?

How about Ivo or Kirk?

Ivo

you don't tend to use the shortened version and the middle name together very much, so I guess it needs to be a middle name that goes with Alexander, so

George?
James?
John?

something short and classic I think

Sandy Francis?
Sandy David?
Sandy Patrick?

I know an adult Sandy.

He is Alexander Jeremy - known to us all as Sandy Gem Grin

beakerandburette · 24/03/2015 17:54

He will be known as Sandy, we are just putting Alexander on the birth lines to give him more options when he is an adult. DP doesn't want a middle name and we have no family names to use. Not sure about any of those that have been suggested.
