Only 10 weeks pg but DH and I were talking and like the name Peter. Only issue is I had always assumed that, if I had a son, his middle name would be Patrick after my DDad.
So... Do you like Peter? Does Peter Patrick sound silly? Are the initials P.P going to cause him to be teased?

Peter is the best name EVER.

initials PP are fine.

Good choices.

Sophronia · 15/03/2015 22:09

Peter is a great name and Peter Patrick is fine.

Quasilulu · 15/03/2015 22:55

Both names were on our list if our pink bump had been blue. Fine together.

FizzyGood · 15/03/2015 22:56

All fine, but my mind immediately followed it with 'picked a peck of pickled peppers'.

ems1910 · 15/03/2015 23:06

We have recently discussed Peter and both love it!

Patrick is another favourite of mine :)

Fallinggracefully · 16/03/2015 06:42

Yes, I do that a bit too Fizzy. Excellent, glad people think it works.

I would add a second middle name between Peter and Patrick.

cosytoaster · 16/03/2015 08:57

Blimey, my son's initials (first and last name) are PP, never thought of the pee pee thing before

Tapwater · 16/03/2015 10:40

They're both nice, but I don't think they work especially well together, less because of sharing an initial, then because they have such different connotations, imo. Inserting another middle name might be a good solution.

notme23 · 16/03/2015 10:45

I love it, Peter is my first choice for a boys name (one day hopefully!) and I love the sound of the two together.

DramaAlpaca · 16/03/2015 12:05

I like both names, but like others have suggested would add another middle name in between them.
