Help with boys names...DH and I can't agree!

We found out yesterday we are having a boy. We had a girls name picked that we both loved but we can't agree on a boys names! Here are our top 2 each. Any thoughts or suggestions of similar gratefully received!

Me:
Ellis
Jude

DH:
Stanley
Gabriel

We have a Gabriel and it was toss up between Gabe or Xavier.

I think Stanley is terrible... I know a couple of little Stanleys and it makes me cringe...

Ellis and Gabriel are my favourites, sorry that's not helpful!

IMO you both need to rethink and come up with a completely different name that you both like.

Ellis, Jude and Gabriel all nice. Stanley is awful imvho. Don't like Xavier.

Agree that you need to start looking at possible compromise names instead, rather than ones that one of you loves.

Love Ellis and Jude MUCH more Tha Gabriel or Stanley. It sounds like your DH prefers more traditional names. How about Elliot as a marriage of Ellis and traditional?
