Middle name for Annabelle?

Just that really! We have a fairly uncommon one syllable surname beginning with H. DD's name is quite long (4 syllable 1st name, 2 syllable middle name). Expecting another DD and like Annabelle but struggling with middle names. I think 1 or 2 syllable names sound best, any suggestions (NOT Grace, May or Rose!)?

Thank you.

Haven't decided on spelling yet! Well we haven't actually 100% decided on the name either.

I love Hannah but the 3 names together are too much of a mouthful.

Poppy is nice Smile

Annabel Hannah would be daft!

I like it Annabel Margaret or Annabel Catherine. So either a really short name or a name just as long.

Annabelle Jane H
Annabelle Mayer H

I almost went for this exact name and those were the names I was going to use. Ended up with an even more whimsical, very French sounding name instead.

Thanks all! Lucy was top of my list but DH wasn't sure about too many 'L' sounds.

Loads of great ideas, thank you.

I do think Lucy is too many L sounds, as theyre right next to each other.

Annabel is so much the better spelling - this is the classic spelling and it looks so much less frilly.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 11/03/2015 11:56

I'm sold on the Annabel spelling Wink. I hadn't really thought about it in any detail yet but you're right, it's much less frilly.
