A daughter called Harriet Sophia (9months)
I'm now 30weeks with baby number 3 and thinking of names,
So far i like
Rosie (OH isn't in love)
Dorothy - OH nans name
Dorothy Rose, does it sound to old?
Also like suzie - struggling for middle names.

Penguinotterfoxbadger · 08/03/2015 08:55

Susannah Eve, or
Suzannah Eve

caughtinthemoment · 08/03/2015 11:40

Dorothy Rose is nice and Dottie is a cute nickname.

BikeRunSki · 08/03/2015 11:53

Dorothy Rose

VixxFace · 08/03/2015 11:53

What about dolly for a nickname. Dorothy is very old fashioned. Too old fashioned.

Lunastarfish · 08/03/2015 11:59

I think Dorothy fits with your other DCs name but I agree with Vixxface that it is perhaps too old fashioned; I'd be more inclined to have Dorothy as a middle name (I like the idea of using family names) so what about Susannah/Suzanne Dorothy? (I think Suzie is a lovely name)

MrsFrankieHeck · 08/03/2015 12:05

Dorothy is nice nn Dotty around here.

GingerLDN · 08/03/2015 12:51

I know a little one with middle name Dot, it's cute! However I really dislike Dorothy. Susie is cute. Susie Dot?

haleandhearty · 08/03/2015 13:49

Dorothy lovely and I think it goes very well with Harriet.
But please not Rose as a middle name as sooooo many girls have a middle name Rose!
What about
Dorothy Ruth
Dorothy Kate/Catherine
Dorothy Margaret
Dorothy Kay
Dorothy Tess
Dorothy Megan

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/03/2015 13:53

Susannah Joy
Susannah Maeve
Susannah Faye
Susannah Claire

You're going to have your hands full!

I agree with your DH about Rosie.

I prefer Dorothea to Dorothy but both are nicer than Rosie.

Susannah is lovely too.

Other names in the same vibe:

Alfie, Harriet & Lillian
Alfie, Harriet & Meredith
Alfie, Harriet & Jenna
Alfie, Harriet & Sylvia

Instituteofstudies · 08/03/2015 21:46

i love Dorothy Rose too.

Jenny1231990 · 11/03/2015 09:58

Ahh thank you for all replies, yes il have my hands full hahaha

Love a lot of the suggestions, I agree Dorothy does sound old, I would use dolly/dotty as a nick name.
I intended to shorted Harriet to hattie but I haven't so far, sometimes she's called harribo. Oooops
Maybe nicknames are used more as they get older
