Anna, Iris or Miriam?

We've narrowed it down to a shortlist of three, but can't seem to decide. Middle names would probably be:

Iris Elizabeth
Miriam Louisa
Anna Josephine (or Anna Beatrice)

Surname is one syllable starting with R. Thanks!

Iris Elizabeth sounds very sophisticated but not over done. I like it a lot!

Mariam is very nice but I knew a girl at school called Mariam (nn Mim) who was a bit of a fuddy duddy which puts me off. Not keen on Louisa (sounds dated to me).

Anna Josephine or Beatrice is lovely and simple but just seems a bit plain in comparison to Iris Elizabeth.

Love all of those. Miriam is the most unusual without being weird. And Miri for short is lovely.

I have an iris. It is definitely gaining popularity. I would vote for Miriam as less common and I love mim. I know one, and think it would suit any age. All three are lovely names though.

Anna Beatrice

I like all three first names, but not so keen on the middle names. My favourite is Miriam, but Anna Beatrice as suggested by pp is lovely.

I love all those, Iris is getting very popular though, if that bothers you. Anna is a timeless classic, and Miriam is beautiful and underused. You can't really go wrong with any of your choices.

I really like Miriam, although not Louisa.

Anna Josephine sounds like an Austro-Hungarian princess to me.

Miriam/Myriam is such a beautiful name (biaised)
but all your chosen names are nice

Miriam is truly lovely. And really unusual. It has nice shortenings too - Miri; Merry; even Mary at a push.

Anna is nice but EVERYWHERE at the moment. Plus Frozen connection may well keep it rising up the charts. Iris is beautiful but a bit up and coming!
