I was set on calling third baby if a boy Albert nn Bertie or Albie, however the more I say it teh more I am discontent with it.
Bertie or Albie goes better with my siblings names, however I don't know if I want them as a first name.

So I have thought of other names that I really like, and wanted your opinions on them and which to go with my children's names. My children are Charlie and Tilly.

Albert
Bertie
Albie
Alfie
Archie
Freddie or Fred
Teddy (not Theodore or Theo)

Any other nn type of names.

Billy
Jimmy
Bobby
Mikey

Tilly and Teddy sound a bit matchy, as do Archie and Charlie.

I think Albie /Archie /Freddie go best.

Or how about
Sid
Jake
Woody
Herbie
Reggie
Percy
Monty
Stanley
Ronnie
Kit
Eddie
Walt

I meant Albie /Alfie /Freddie go best.

Cornberry · 22/02/2015 22:36

Bertram?

rockinrobintweet · 22/02/2015 22:53

i like Charlie, Tilly and Freddie from your list.

what about:
Brad / Bradley (then you having an ee ending sound theme)
Jett
Frankie/ Frank
Joel
Robin

CrispyFern · 22/02/2015 22:58

Agree with EeB00 about Teddy and Archie.

Albie / Bertie are both nice and fine. Anything sounds weird if you say it too many times!

What girl name do you have picked out?

Icedfinger · 22/02/2015 23:07

I love Albie. How about...

Benjamin (benji)
Stanley
William (Billy)
Barnaby
Peter
Edward
Finnbar

Mrsteddyruxpin · 22/02/2015 23:11

Oh my god, they are fabulous names

I would probably go for Freddie to match I think

Best wishes with it all

Actually Eddie is good too

Teganrhiannon · 23/02/2015 00:02

Freddie

Qwebec · 23/02/2015 14:18

Maybe choose a name that does not rhyme with with the two others
Why not leave Albert on BC andgo with the nn that you prefer? Like that later in life he can choose?

I'm loving Freddie at the moment and so is OH.
@CrispyFern I haven't picked a girls name yet but a few of my choices are Daisy, Maisie, Mabel or Tessa (nn Tess) with a choice of mn too. Might put a post of girls names for a little in put :)

Albie and Bertie are great names - I would stick with either of those . Teddy seems to be going crazy everywhere so I'd avoid that one . Freddie is lovely but again very popular . All of the other options in your list are nice but all getting overused now , except Albie and Bertie . Go with your initial instincts .
