I have put a photo on my profile page and was wondering if you'd be so kind as to say which of the following names she "looks like"...

Alexandra
Charlotte
Caitlin
Eleanor
Elizabeth
Emma
Natalie
Sophia

Hopefully you can access the pic by clicking my name and then selecting photo gallery. Thanks in advance.

Interestingly you have named all the girls in my family- I'll see if I can access you profile and see which one of us she looks like!

Bowlersarm · 20/02/2015 14:12

Charlotte

Caitlin

She's a baby, she can't look like a collection of letters! I never understand how people can think that names can 'fit' a baby.

Alexandra, Charlotte and Natalie are my favourite of your (really lovely) list though. Probably Alexandra just gets my vote though I prefer both Natalie and Charlotte to Alex or Lexie

Elemental · 20/02/2015 14:17

Elizabeth

Seriouslyffs · 20/02/2015 15:03

That's definitely an Elizabeth.

NadiaWadia · 20/02/2015 16:39

Emma?

I might be wrong, but that is not a new photo is it? Looks like it was taken in the 70s. So presumably she is already named? Or is this for a character in a book or something?

Sophronia · 20/02/2015 16:43

Emma or Natalie.

Nervo · 20/02/2015 16:45

Charlotte.

Leeds2 · 20/02/2015 16:52

She looks like a Caitlin.

My fave name from your list is Alexandra.

AutumnMelody · 20/02/2015 16:54

I think she looks like an Alexandra Smile

SoupDragon · 20/02/2015 16:55

Why do you want us to guess the name of a child born in the 60s? Judging by the lack of colour and general aged look to the photo.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 20/02/2015 17:25

She looks like a Natalie

AnneOfCleavage · 20/02/2015 17:34

I immediately thought Emma but actually it could be any of the E names.

Is the pic of you and people can't believe you have a name that didn't fit with the era or something?

SantasLittleMonkeyButler · 20/02/2015 17:36

Eleanor.

OutragedFromLeeds · 20/02/2015 17:36

Charlotte

shipsinthenight · 20/02/2015 18:55

Natalie or Emma

SoupDragon born in the 60s! Puh-lease! Grin

Yes these are old photos (Nadia is correct with her 70s guess). For sure the colour of the first pic and the clothing of the second pic make it obvious (pink shirt and green something over the top - probably the height of fashion back then).

It is me and I thought I'd just ask for a bit of fun to see what people say. I actually agree with Manic that a baby can't really look like like a name. But there are some people, my DH included, who are trying to tell me I should wait til the new baby is born before naming her. We had a name already for DS and when he arrived we all just said "oh that's what X looks like".

Obviously my not-yet-born DD will have to contend with 50% DNA from her dad, so it's not a cert that she'll even look anything like this fingers crossed she takes after my side.

Its all shades of brown on my screen. No pink, no green. So no, it isn't obvious.

I think she is an Eleanor.
