Both lovely. I prefer Charlotte.

MaudeLebowski · 17/02/2015 22:59

Charlotte. Florence is my grandmas name, and whilst i like it very much, I could never use it. Too 'her' to me.

ScaryChicken · 17/02/2015 23:00

Florence!

All the Charlottes at my school were really bitchy...

GilbertBlytheWouldGetIt · 17/02/2015 23:05

Charlotte has better nn potential. But probably inevitable nicknames, if that matters to you.

MrsBungle · 17/02/2015 23:06

Both nice. I like Florence best.

Alisvolatpropiis · 17/02/2015 23:09

Charlotte. I think it is more classic insofar as it has been in consistent use for a very long time. Whereas a Florence has peaks and troughs of popularity.

The real clincher for me is Flo, I really don't like it.

Fuckmath · 17/02/2015 23:12

Charlotte. Florence is also lovely though, and Grace. Alice nice enough though a little more boring.

Amy106 · 17/02/2015 23:18

Charlotte although Alice is lovely. Any chance of changing dh's mind?

Sophronia · 17/02/2015 23:19

I prefer Florence.

BikeRunSki · 17/02/2015 23:22

Florence

I have an irrational dislike of Charlotte.

What's wrong with Alice Angry??? Eh??? Ehhhh?!!

Hakluyt · 17/02/2015 23:22

All lovely. I I know a Floss.

justjodie92 · 17/02/2015 23:22

I prefer Florence

Munchkin08 · 17/02/2015 23:23

reuset · 17/02/2015 23:44

GingerLDN · 17/02/2015 23:51

I like all except Alice

Blahia · 18/02/2015 04:38

I prefer florence. Not so keen on Charlotte

Twistedheartache · 18/02/2015 04:45

Charlotte - Florence makes me think of the magic roundabout & the camerons

Raahh · 18/02/2015 05:01

I love Florence and Alice- Florence was my gran's name, and Alice was her aunt's name- and my 15 year old niece's Grin

I wanted Florence for dd2 (wasn't put off that she was due a month after the Cameron's baby)- but dh wasn't keen on Flo as a short form, and said Flossie sounded like a sheepdogSad.

I like Charlotte too, and know a lot of Graces- for good reason, probably as it's a lovely name.

I'm no help am I? Grin

NadiaWadia · 18/02/2015 05:31

I prefer Charlotte, I find Florence a bit stodgy. But Alice is beautiful!

pilates · 18/02/2015 18:40

Charlotte

Bowlersarm · 18/02/2015 18:49

Florence.

Although Charlotte is fine.

ChickenMe · 18/02/2015 18:51

Charlotte. Florence seems too trendy at the moment.

hawkmcqueen · 18/02/2015 19:09

Charlotte. I have one and some of the comments from MN was that it was a boring name but I find it soft, feminine, classic and find it is well approved of.
Florence for me is try too hard, dare I say it.

Morelikeguidelines · 18/02/2015 19:12

Charlotte. I know some lovely Charlotte.

The only Florence I have ever known was an utter bitch (a Wendy? If that is the person who does the bitchiness, not the victim. I never know.)

Pandora37 · 18/02/2015 20:08

Definitely Charlotte.
