I can't decide either way, sometimes I love it, and other times...not. What do you think?

I like it, I had a friend at primary school who had a teenage sister called Jacqueline and I can remember thinking she must be the most glamorous sophisticated person!

I'm not a huge fan of Jackie as a nn though so would always have to use the full name.

(I think glamorous older sister is now a writer of sci-fi books so she is indeed very cool Smile)

I like it but worry about Jackie/Jacqui. I like Caroline as well. I'm not sure if these names are ready for a comeback just yet - can you imagine a baby Sandra?!

On the one hand it's got the undeniable glamour of Jacqueline Kennedy and Jacqueline Bisset and on the other hand it's also the name of a 65 year old woman who spends her days at Gala Bingo sipping brandy and lemonade and throwing Roy at the opposite table come hither eyes.

Personally I think Gala Jacqueline sounds like great fun if not as elegantly glam as Kennedy and Bisset.

I like Caroline, have the most BEAUTIFUL and intelligent French friend called Caroline and it's shortened to Caro.

Jaqueline, I tend to think towards the Gala bingo type....

Horrible

Caroline is gorgeous, and a cut above really. It's managed to keep its distance from Sandra and Jackie.

The only one I know is an unpleasant piece of work. It has coloured my view of the name quite significantly unfortunately.

I've only ever known one Caroline, she was a lovely woman, met a sad end though.

God I'm full of the joys today! Blush

ah well that's told me then! We can't use Caroline as it's my sister's name...sigh, back to the drawing board Confused

sorry, I feel I have taken over this thread with my love of Caroline!

I've always really like Jacqueline. I think it deserves a comeback.
