Hi,
I'm thinking of using Peter James as a name should my baby be a boy. Peter seems so uncommon now, I don't know why I love the name, what do you all think ?

If not Peter we will prob go with James Matthew.

I would choose Peter over James - I have a James and love it very much - but no matter where you go there is always another!

Lovely, classic non-faddy name.

Peter is lovely. It is on the rise around where I live so don't expect to be the only one but if that isn't important, go for it.

Um, oh yeah 'Baby Peter'

DramaAlpaca · 10/02/2015 21:32

Love it.

My brother is a Peter. Sorry it's a no from me. Just seriously boring. Not offensive but you could do so much better!

okeydonkey · 10/02/2015 22:40

Love it!

LeSaor · 10/02/2015 23:22

I like it and I know a 21 year old Peter but you have to be prepared for Pe'er. :)

SnoringNorma · 11/02/2015 00:45

It's a lovely crisp name and I've never met a horrible Peter. Paul however. ..shudder.

rockinrobintweet · 11/02/2015 22:08

I live in the south west. this name is very popular where I am!

ScaryChicken · 12/02/2015 03:34

Peter is the best name EVER.

With middle name James he might get called PJ so consider whether you like that...

Allice · 12/02/2015 04:47

I know 3 boys called Peter, 2 7 year olds and a 10 year old.
I quite like it.
Both of the 7 yr olds are named after grandparents and the older one is from a very religious family.
