not going to change my mind just curious
I already have a ds Alex James Crompton and a dd Bernadette Rose
pg with dc3.... for a girl I love Elizabeth Poppy (wanted another flower and this goes best as far as i can tell, although this middle.name may be changed if you find a flower! ) and for a boy we have managed to agree on Adam Derek Jon.

I love Adam and Elizabeth.

Prefer Daisy and Holly as flower names. Or even Marigold or Clover.

Elizabeth is lovely. Not massively keen on Poppy. I love Iris though, if you are after a flower.

I googled

Heather? Lilac? Violet? Zinnia?

I like both choices, I prefer the spelling John to Jon though.

Possible alternatives to Poppy... Elizabeth Daisy, Elizabeth Iris, Elizabeth Violet, Elizabeth Jasmine, Elizabeth Ivy, Elizabeth Heather.

Elizabeth Ivy is my favourite out of PPers comments.

I love Adam as a first name and think middle names compliment it too- must admit I prefer spelling John also though.

my only concern with Elizabeth Poppy is how long the name is.. I personally would go for a short but sweet middle name to compliment Elizabeth beautifully!

thank you. some nice names. I was going to go with violet but it sounds too close to violent! I do like ivy though, will have to speak to him and see if he will accept! the reason jon will be spelt without the 'h' is that it is a family members name

Both good first names there. But I think Poppy jars a bit with Elizabeth

I like Elizabeth Poppy actually. It kind of brightens up the serious Elizabeth.

remus if I had my way derek wouldbt be in there but he has kicked off because I picked the names for the other two and he wanted a say in it....unfortunately his say was his dads name!

:) In that case, I guess nobody is interested in their middle name most of the time anyway!
