First names starting with same letter as surname?

Is it too comic book sounding? - Mickey Mouse Bugs Bunny etc or is it ok?

I like a bit of alliteration. Sam Spade and Greta Garbo sound pretty cool to me.

Wouldn't be a fan though of names like Hannah Hanlon or Holly Holland as mentioned above where first name and surname start with the same syllable.

I wouldn't give alliteration a second thought, and only judge the same as when deciding if it 'goes' with the surname.
