So after picking MN brains, what did you call your baby? How did you reach that decision?

Just that really. I'd love to know if any posters settled on baby names suggested by us? What name was it?

My choice really divided MN... some people loved it, others hated it because it was Welsh (despite being told she'll be a Welsh-speaking baby, growing up in Wales, with a Welsh family). Oh and people hated our nickname choice too.

We went for Celyn Teagan. She's known as Callie by most people, but we tend to just call her Celyn :)

That's a lovely name!

My daughter is Claudia Elizabeth. Again, very divided on Claudia, lots didn't like the meaning.

I used MN to test my baby name, because I knew there would be people who would be nasty about it.

I figured if I still loved the name after the worst that could be said about it, it was the right one for us.

i already had two DD before using mn (Scarlett- Eleanor and Roselyn- Dianne) but used mn to get ideas for a boy as had a red theme...

i now have a Jasper- Charles thanks to a lovely MNers suggestion??

I wanted Amelia. Mn encouraged me to go for Emilia. My dd2 therefore is Emilia Ruby
