My brother & his partner just had a boy and called him Lucas. I'm due next week & if it's a girl I love the name Leah. Is having two cousins called Lucas & Leah a bit too Star Wars??

(1) because they are cousins, not siblings and
(2) because it's Luke and Leia, not Lucas and Leah.

It's fine, I doubt anyone will. Are the connection. I actually know someone with two DCs called Luke and Leia, that really is too Star Wars.

I know that it's Luke & Leia in Star Wars. I'm just not sure that I can stand the inevitable jokes that people will make constantly. And although they're cousins not siblings my family is very close.

Leah is pronounced differently to Leia so can't believe anyone will make the connection.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars films, I'm sure lots of people haven't. Even if they had I don't think the names are that similar.
