Piggy backing on "Coolest boys names....." thread - cool girls names

Loving the suggestions on the Coolest Boys Names thread.

What cool girls' names are there out there that askew the tread towards traditional names?

agh tread = trend!

My favorite at the moment is Bea. Not Beatrice just Bea.

I always think cool must mean popular; when I was little the cool girls all had names like Jessica, Katrina, Anna, Emily, Olivia, Kate - feminine names, but not too "girly" or flimsy

My 5 day old baby girl is called Hester. I may be a tiny bit biased but I think that's a cool name!

Snap Bowlersarm - was coming on to say Calypso too. Loved it ever since watching The Camomile Lawn back in the '90s!

Good link sqoosh - lots of great names on there.

I like Clio/Cleo but my MIL just called her new cat Clio (darn it!).

I like Wren a lot....

Clio is awesome (prefer this spelling because of the Greek muse connection, despite the car issue!). I have a thing for O endings.

Come to think of it, I must also have a thing for N endings, as I also love Wren (and Rowan, and Merryn) Think it's an anti-girliness thing, as I'm not a fan of princessy names.

Some of these arent cool, they are just plain daft!

I don't think there's such a thing as a cool name TBH. Put some of these names on a shy child and there is no way they will be cool.

Lois I love Hester! I know a 1 year old Hester and it suits her down to the ground.
