DH really likes it, I'm not so sure.

I only know one Logan who is from a vair posh family Wink

The only other Logan is Wolverine.

What do you think when you hear the name Logan? If you know a Logan, what are they like?

But I won't (have another son, LOL). I don have a son and liked the name we chose for him far better.

DramaAlpaca · 31/01/2015 22:43

I really like it.

GiniCooper · 31/01/2015 22:44

No.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 31/01/2015 23:40

Think it's horrible to be honest. Hate surnamey names, such as Taylor, Tyler, Logan, Mason and Harrison ect.

Smileyaxolotl1 · 01/02/2015 10:38

Love it- am pregnant and was a bit gutted when I found out I was expecting a girl just because I can't use it... My Dh wanted the nickname 'logie bear' for him. I do agree that it's a bit chavvy though (bit like mason) but I don't care!

Zsazsabinks · 01/02/2015 11:42

I think of it as chav-tastic rather than posh! I'm also Scottish.

BitchBags · 01/02/2015 13:20

I love it! But then I would say that as I have a little Logan Grin sometimes I call him my little Logan berry and his god mother calls him Logie Bear

D0nnaO · 01/02/2015 13:50

sorry but I agree with iliveina

AngelsWithSilverWings · 01/02/2015 14:23

My one is a handsome , bright, well spoken , kind and loving 9 year old.

He gets called Logie by his friends and Logie Bear at home ( although he begs us to stop!)

I hate seeing his name described as chavtastic Hmm - that is so mean.

QueenBean · 01/02/2015 14:31

So chavvy, sorry, hate it

Names like Logan, Mason, Jackson, Sullivan, Harrison, Bailey etc will be the next generation's Kelly, Tracy, Sharon, Shelley type names

GingerLDN · 02/02/2015 02:16

Around here if you heard of a Logan you'd guess it'd be a chavvy family. I suppose it depends on where you live though.

DorothyGherkins · 02/02/2015 02:23

No, I dont like it, but cant explain why! I know of two Logans under two years old - each time I see them, I think, No, you don't look like a Logan! It doesnt suit either of them.

Florrieboo · 02/02/2015 02:59

I have never met one in real life, the only one I think of is Hunstberger in The Gilmore girls. He was posh.

cheeseburgerandfries · 02/02/2015 03:28

Very popular where I am, not posh, along the same lines as "Jayden" "Mason" which are see as quite 'common' or 'chavy' as some have mentioned.

I don't like it. But I'm sure plenty of people do not like my DD name Wink.

cheeseburgerandfries · 02/02/2015 03:29

Oh I agree with QueenBeen!

ElmaTheElephant · 02/02/2015 04:26

I think it's awful.

Logan, Tegan, Morgan, all awful. Is it for a boy or a girl? You can never tell these days.

The only Logan I ever knew was a boy and he has a brother called Dean and a little sister called Houston. (pronounced Hewston, like the Texas city.) Confused

I don't know how their mother managed to have three stabs at naming a child and to cock it up so monumentally all three times.

HearTheThunderRoar · 02/02/2015 06:07

I think it's a gorgeous name and not the slightest bit chavvy Hmm I know a lovely 13 year old boy called Logan but he's american born and bred (though both his parents a Kiwis)

HearTheThunderRoar · 02/02/2015 06:09

*are

CheerfulYank · 02/02/2015 06:14

Florrie that's what I was going to say...Logan Huntzberger was posh! :o

Other than that I think of Logan Bruno from the babysitter's club.

I'm American so I know a few. It's just a name to me...not posh, not chavvy.

bubalou · 02/02/2015 06:39

I love it. I know one and would have it for our boy on the way of it wasn't a friend who's son had the name.

Smile
Nolim · 02/02/2015 06:44

Nice name

eachtigertires · 03/02/2015 00:13

Great name :)

OllyBJolly · 03/02/2015 00:20

Two nephews called Logan, both of Scottish descent but neither live in the UK. Both ginger ninjas - but not at all chavvy.

TheGirlAtTheRockShow · 03/02/2015 06:44

I love it, it's on the list if we ever have DC 2.
I don't think its chavvy, although I do only know 1 and his parents are what some may call chavs.
A name doesn't make a person - a person makes a name. If you love it, use it. But don't not use it because someone somewhere may judge you on it.

Bonsoir · 03/02/2015 07:01

I think it's awful.
