I think we have boys' names picked out but less sure on girls. So far on the list:

Christina
Flora
Juliet

What else might I like? Smile

I do like Mairi rather than the 'varry' pronunciation

Alice
Ailish

Love Harriet!

Not really fussed about Iona/Isla. They're both really popular here and weirdly, in my head, they have merged into the same name!

Catriona

Butterpuff · 30/01/2015 13:46

I love Flora, why keep looking? Juliet makes me think of Josephine shortened to Josie.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/01/2015 13:46

Susannah
Christabel
Florence
Cassandra (Cassie)
Claudia

I had flora on my list for my bump... Was pretty convinced until i searched it and there are lots of 'flora spreads easily' commentsShockConfused
That said i really do think it is beautiful. I also like blossom, willow, and summer on the 'nature' theme x

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 30/01/2015 15:18

Ha ha - I agree Butterpuff! I like the Scottish connection with it too.

I love Florence as well, but it's taken by a family member already. I've added Susannah to the list.

I don't care about the 'spreads easily' kind of comments...it says a lot more about the people that find it funny/clever!

I agree with you angus... It is a beautiful name. Its still on my very short short list. I think it may get popular as its the name of the new baby in 'last tango in halifax' aswell. Grin

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 30/01/2015 18:31

Oh really? Typical! I told DH we should have named DD1 Flora!

Bowlersarm · 30/01/2015 18:35

I love Flora.

My suggestions:

Marnie
Kitty

mondaymadness · 30/01/2015 19:34

You have lovely name choices, my personal fave is Flora but all three are gorgeous. You rarely hear Christina these days.

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 30/01/2015 20:01

I love both of those, bowlersarm. Particularly Marnie. I'm sure DH vetoed it last time, but he has a short memory. Will present it as a new, fresh idea Grin

Thanks monday! Christina has really grown on me in the last few months. I'm still not 100% on it, but I like the fact it's not overused.

Lydia?

Bowlersarm · 30/01/2015 20:08

Freya?

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 30/01/2015 20:45

I like both Lydia and Freya. They just aren't quite right, iykwim.

Your choices are lovely. I really, really like Christina.

Asleeponasunbeam · 30/01/2015 20:51

Do you like Florence?

Asleeponasunbeam · 30/01/2015 20:53

Would you share your boy's name? Only for curiosity purposes really, but it also gives a flavour of what you like.

AngusAndElspethsThistleWhistle · 30/01/2015 21:03

Most likely Fergus for a boy. Possibly Angus.

I do like Florence a lot, but has been nabbed Smile
