Already have a poppy and a violet.

I don't like rose or iris and I'm not specially keen on daisy.

I must be having a brain freeze as am struggling to think of suitable floral names! Any thoughts?

Such a shame you don't like Daisy, Lily or Rose as I think they would work best with Poppy and Violet.

I also like Posy, Peony, Hebe and Primrose. I think you should stick with a flower name rather than a tree/nature name.

Primrose is gorgeous.

YonicSleighdriver · 11/01/2015 08:42

I love Bryony from the flower fairies - www.flowerfairies.com/UK/meet_the_fairies.html

Posy is lovely but difficult to carry off as an adult.

Also one of The Flumps. Wink

I love Marigold

heygoldfish · 11/01/2015 13:14

I don't think it's difficult to carry off as an adult particularly - everyone says that about Poppy, but I just think if I met an adult called Poppy I'd meet an adult called Poppy :)

Lavender
Veronica

Although would you prefer garden flowers to wild ones? I'm going to have a flick through my Flower Fairy anthology now Grin

Gardenia is a lovely, unusual one. Petunia is a flower name but has a bit of an unpleasant ring to it, I think. Ever considered Freesia?

newrecruit · 11/01/2015 18:01

Please let Freesia's surname be bollocks. GrinWink

I was talking to a friend earlier whose name is Delphine. Her DD2 is called Marguerite.

BathtimeFunkster · 11/01/2015 20:23

No, newrecruit, she's Russian. It's Bollocksov. Grin

Nerine?

My favourites are Clover, Fern and Marigold.

wizzler · 11/01/2015 21:32

Marguerite is beautiful, .. Jasmine also very pretty.

Allalonenow · 11/01/2015 23:49

I'm not keen on Clover, it's a bit too dairy-maids-a-milking and pastoral for me, there are quite a few threads on Clover in BN, do have a read of them before adding Clover to your list.

MakeMeWarmThisWinter · 12/01/2015 22:31

Heliotrope was always my favourite flower fairy.
