Ok scrap that, its #13 on the list.. just not common here :)

Milmingebag · 06/01/2015 00:31

Elliot for a boy.

Catherine or Anna for a girl.

Aelfrida · 06/01/2015 14:15

Some lovely suggestions, thank you! Boys names are harder, aren't they?!

I quite like Natalie, actually. That's going on the list. As is Rebecca, I think. You never get any Rebecca's nowadays, do you? Cordelia is gorgeous so thank you for that one! Pretty sure DH will not agree though. Damn him. Aloitius is awesome but he will definitely say no to that one!

Other suggestions I like but can't use are Maria, Elodie, Charlotte ( Such a pretty name but I know loads of these). I also know 2 baby Davids.

I'm in two minds about Nicholas. I really like it but not sure the nn Nick sounds good with our surname (rhymes with door but starts with M).

Most of these have been said already but I have heaps of girls names I can't use because they don't match our surname or already in the family...

Harriet
Juliet
Rachel
Beatrice
Cordelia
Rosalind
Celia
Rosamund
Violet
Blanche
Virginia (does anyone dare use that now or is the connotation of 'Virgin' too much of a bullying risk?)

Plus lots of names starting with M I can't use as DD1 is already M.
