Nature names for a boy please?

I'm thinking along the lines of Rowan, Jasper, Oakley, Cedar... Not Ocean, Bear, Leaf, Wolf, if you get my gist?

It will be for a middle name after either Jack, Rory or Jamie.

Sage as in the leaf or sage as in wise. Either way, it has a nice meaning.

Or go a bit Nordic - eg Jokul (glacier - could be pronounced as a Y or a J, though Y is technically correct), or Stinn (stone)?

I really, really wanted to name DD Katla, after the Icelandic volcano. Turns out it would have been a great name, what with the colic and everything.

I like Orion but think it sounds clunky as a mn.

I like Beck but not sure it really sounds quite right in our name to me.

If he was a girl I'd have Fern but I can't adjust myself to Bracken for a boy. And dh would definitely say no even though he claims no interest in the middle name!
