I'm surprised, there has been some names that have really increased in popularity

Luna surprises me the most. I think there's a hp link but it makes me think of periods/ lunatic.

I was surprised that Sophie was only #36. Imogen and Willow have really increased in popularity.

Luna was #337 in 2012.

I don't think this list is based on any official stats - just the votes and views on the babynames.co.uk website. If you click on the link which says "Top 10 names for November" on the same page, you'll see some very unusual entries which I certainly don't think will appear in the official top 10 stats any time soon.

Yeah it is just what babynames users are voting for. Luna and Willow are definitely not anywhere near that popular in real life.
