I could really do with some honest opinions and suggestions as my husband and I are so baffled we can't agree anymore! We both like Imogen, Scarlett, Poppy and Brooke. They might sound like a mixture but our surname is very long starting with a W. We don't want anything overly girly but appreciate simple classic names.

I like Imogen from your list.

I'm not sure any of the four are what I'd consider 'classic' names though.

Meant to say: Brooke doesn't sound very "ckassic" to me. More modern/American.

Looki and Deerhound you are very right Brooke is not very Classic at all. I can't think now where it's come from!
We have seriously considered Rose as my 18 month old is Ralph/Ralphie and it would go very well.
There are some great suggestions. Particularly Laila or Alexa.
Lucy is my sisters name, that's a no go.
Thank you for the responses.

I think Audrey or Audra goes nicely with Ralph, or maybe Lillian?

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 04/01/2015 15:58

Rose for me, from anothers suggestion. But of your names I really like Scarlett. I used to like Imogen but then I heard someone call their Imogen "Mo Mo" and it made me want to poke their eyes out Grin so it put me right off.

Mo mo!Thats just funny!
Family on my side have been very persistent about Rose leading my husband to be put off altogether. Such a shame.
Lillian is lovely. I wish there weren't a zillion already.
I will be showing my husband the two name lists later. Verity & Eliza stand out, they would fit the surname and go well with Ralph but no one can predict a mans opinion.

I like Imogen very much, I wouldn't say that the others in your opening post were classic.
Verity is also a lovely name. V

Hazel?

kezzydee · 05/01/2015 15:10

Hiya i like the name imogen. We have one already in our family though so i cant call my LO that. Her name gets shortened to Immy.
The name we have settled on is Robyn, i think that would go lovely with Ralph xxx

Clueing4looks · 05/01/2015 15:18

I love Ruby with Ralph.

Also love Connie, Rosalie, Alaya and Lilia.
