Having found out we are expecting a little boy (first baby) we have been trying to narrow down name options. I tend to like quite classic English boys names and DH is generally quite picky but doesn't suggest any names himself.
Ones we both like include:
Oliver
William
James
Noah
Lucas
Flynn
However there are issues with most of these (Noah - too biblical? James - I hate Jimmy, DH and his family would inevitably use this nickname. Lucas and William - already used by friends of ours which I'd rather avoid)
Other names I like but DH doesn't, or we can't use for various reasons:
Harry
Joshua
Alfie
Leo
Benjamin
Alexander
Rory
The only criterion we have is that the name can't start with B (last name starts with a J). I'd also prefer not to use a J name if possible as I don't like JJ but wouldn't rule it out. I'm not worried about popularity.
Are there any other names you can suggest that might appeal to us?
