Hi,

I think we've decided on names for either boy or girl but I just wondered what you lovely people thought.

We love both our parents names for a boy; so he'll be Arthur Patrick.

And we love Clara for a girl. But I do love Polly as well...??

I agree both lovely names.

teacoffeesomethingsweet · 30/12/2014 23:39

Lovely names! I am an auntie to Arthur and Clara and just love these names.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 30/12/2014 23:39

Great names. Much prefer Clara over Polly.

ShesARumUn · 31/12/2014 10:03

Love Arthur bit dislike Clara which sounds too precious.

PrimalLass · 31/12/2014 20:13

I have a Clara. It is not at all ' precious', thanks.

Donthackmenow · 01/01/2015 08:06

Love them as individual names but together I'm not sure that they don't sound like they should be Cockney rhyming slang for something Smile

MincePieDiet · 01/01/2015 08:27

Lovely.

ZebraGiraffe · 01/01/2015 15:04

lovely names
I wish you were having twins as they sound lovely together.

clary · 01/01/2015 15:08

Both lovely names. Arthur I especially like :)

shakemysilliesout · 01/01/2015 18:10

Love both names- hate them together.

olivehater · 01/01/2015 19:49

Just to give an alternative opinion. I love the name Clara ( was on my short list) but went off it as the name doesn't roll of the tongue easily. I find it gets sort of stuck in my throat IYSWIM. Might be jsust me but I prefer Polly. Or Cara?

Jazzhandsrule · 01/01/2015 19:52

Really dislike Clara, it's such a hard Germanic sounding name. Polly is much much nicer IMO. Arthur is okay, lots about so a fairly popular name.

PrimalLass · 01/01/2015 22:10

it's such a hard Germanic sounding name.

Well that's nice. But it depends how you says it. We are Scottish so don't do a big plummy 'a' sound.

PrimalLass · 01/01/2015 22:10

*say it, not says

Dancingincircles · 01/01/2015 22:25

Clara is much nicer than Polly.
