I'm beyond stuck for a name , have zero inspiration at all and everything just seems meh Confused

I did like Ruari but it has become far to common in use iyswim

Other names I like but not to sure on are -

Archie
Elias
Ailbe
Elijah
Reuben
Malachi

Surname is Irish & would ideally like something not to common as my family have very erm different names .

TIA

From your list my favourite is Elias, followed by Malachi.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/12/2014 21:39

Love Elias. Don't like any of the others, sorry.

myotherusernameisbetter · 29/12/2014 21:48

If you like Ruari, I guess Reuben gives you the same nickname of Ru/Roo? As for other suggestions, maybe something generally celtic/irish/scottish/welsh would work?

Austin
Tiernan
Cormac
Struan
Evan
Ewan/Euan
Gregor
Ciar/Keir
Atholl
Cathal

bahfinghumbug · 29/12/2014 21:56

I would like to stick with Irish/Celtic as Dp I is Irish .

Elias is one of my top names though it doesn't quite feel right if that makes any sense

I like all of yours except Archie. How about Solomon? :)

myotherusernameisbetter · 29/12/2014 22:05

Ennis or Emmet/Emerson instead of Elias?

TaytoCrisp · 29/12/2014 22:07

Cillian / killian
Morgan
Feilim
Aidan
Donnagh / donncha
Faolan
Fintan

Deerhound · 29/12/2014 23:09

Dewi, Griff, Iwan, Tomos..

(I also like Elias btw)

RedToothBrush · 29/12/2014 23:33

I think you'll find that Reuben, Elijah and Archie are more popular so if that's your reasoning, you better cross them off your list.

moxon · 30/12/2014 05:12

Malcolm is due a comeback...?

I like Malachi out of your list. If you want different don't go with Archie or Elijah!

shoobidoo · 30/12/2014 07:22

I like Reuben or how about Quentin, Austin or Torin?

bahfinghumbug · 30/12/2014 09:59

I think I'll pass on Malcolm ... Thanks for the suggestion though Smile

I'm adding the rest to my maybe list

TheTravellingLemon · 30/12/2014 12:54

Your list includes all the names on my boys list! You have fabulous taste Wink

Our number one is Reuben, closely followed by Elijah.

Already know a few Lochlainn's & Tobias' so don't want to use them even though they are nice .

I have had Travis & Joel suggested to me today & I think Travis could be in the top 5 tbh

Osian?

Deerhound · 30/12/2014 19:40

Tristan?

TendonQueen · 30/12/2014 19:46

You have some good names on your list but none sound Irish or Celtic to me (more Jewish, really.. ) Travis is nice, though.
