I don;t know the sex of our baby yet, too early, but we already have a boys name picked.

I need one for a girl.

My current list is Maya, Lola or Aisha.

DH not keen on Maya as too many different pronounciations.

What else do you think I might like?

Rosa or Lyla?

Love Lola & quite like Maya but not over keen on Aisha

SnowWhite33 · 02/12/2014 20:05

I really like Maya/Mila/Mia.
Lola is a bit too Spanish sounding to me and definitely no to Aisha

manicinsomniac · 02/12/2014 23:24

I like both pronunciations of Maya (though personally I would say May-a for that and if I wanted My-a I'd spell it Maia). I know lots of people think differently though so I can see your husband's point.

I'm not so keen on Lola or Aisha though they're both ok.

Like Aisha best but would spell Ayesha. How about Vashti?

VirtualPointyHat · 04/12/2014 16:37

How would you pronounce Ayesha?

Personally Aisha - Eye-sher / Eye-sha

Ayesha - Eye- ee- sher

Not keen on Vashti, Im a doctor who fan and its too claose to Vashta (nerada) and Vashtri
