Rosanna?

We're expecting our 3rd baby, DD1 in March and I'm in full swing on the baby naming programme and driving DH ever so slightly mad.

Lots of the names I love are either taken by other family members or don't work with our surname.

At the moment DH is a bit stuck on Sasha and I'm really leaning toward Rachel, but neither of us is totally convinced by the other's choice, so I'm looking for other alternatives.

Some of the names we love but can't use are:
Camilla
Charlotte
Harriet
Francesca
Sophie
Sybilla

Recently the name Rosanna has popped into my head. What do the wise mummies of Mumsnet think of it?
Other thoughts? I'm actually willing to go a little further out on a limb than the names above might suggest.
Not into granny names or scullery maid names though.

I love Rosanna! Bit biased, my second name is Roseanne. I love all your choices apart from Camilla, I don't know why I just don't like the way it sounds.

I don't like Rachel, I like Sasha. I think Rachel sounds 'hard' and Sasha sounds the opposite.

I really like Rosanna and also Rosalia. How about Gabriella or Rebecca?

Thank heavens someboy who asks about a sensible name... love it I know 2 ( italians) one young age 6 and one adult. Suits them both.

I like Rosanna. It was on my shortlist for DD2. Unfortunately DH doesn't like it much.
