Lucelia

Hi all

I have just gone 8 weeks pregnant and have started looking through the odd baby name book. I have come across the name Lucelia, which I think I like but not sure if it is just too over fussy. What do people thing? Is it a yay or a nay?

Other names we are considering are Tabitha and Juliet.
We have got two LO already called James and Isabel x

It's pretty, but you might find people struggle with pronunciation (or maybe that's just me!).

I love Lucia but this seems a bit much.

It's Portuguese, isn't it? And it's usually spelled with an acute accent on the 'e'. In which case the usual pronounciation would be Loo-SAY-lyah.

I think that it's rather pretty, but, as others have already said, you might find people have problems with saying it.

Lucilla is easier to pronounce.

Juliet is a nice name too.

I'm not keen on Lucelia, tbh, but I adore Juliet, it's beautiful.

prefer Luella if you want a variation on Lucy.

Why not just go for Celia, very pretty and classic and not so fussy?

I like Tabitha with James and Isabel.

Hmm, sounds like a blend of Lucia and Celia to me - prefer both of those names to Lucelia.
