Sister for Seraphina?

Ds is Seraphina and DS has a name similar to Rufus (well kind of. CBA to name change and don't want to totally out myself).

Dd3 is due in March. Middle names are already chosen as we are naming after very much missed and loved family (Vesta Rose).

We need a first name though. i love Sylvia but DHhas vetoed. Stella is pretty high on the list.

Any other good suggestions? Really hoping to have a name in place this time so baby isn't unnamed for 2 weeks like with ds!

Lyra, if you want to have a Northern Lights theme Grin?

Stella is nice. I prefer Sylvie to Sylvia. Does it have to begin with an S?

diggerdigsdogs · 19/11/2014 21:20

Northern lights theme not obligatory Grin

Does not have to start with an S. I like Sylvie very much too but still comes under the veto sadly. this would be so much easier if Dh didn't have an opinion.

Sylvie would be confused with Sylvia a lot.

Hermione
Penelope
Blaise
Clementine
Genevieve
Bibiana
Christabel

These names have a similar vibe to Serephina

I know a Seraphina with a sister Lucia.

RunawayReindeer · 22/11/2014 10:57

I don't love Sylvia so I could be way off the mark but....
Gabriella
Savannah
Sienna
Delilah
Pandora
Antigone

(I bloody love Antigone but dp says it sounds like a name for a pet so despite have 2 dh's I still haven't been able to use Tiggy :( )

RunawayReindeer · 22/11/2014 11:00

And imho, Stella sounds quite clunky and common (I think shameless when I hear it, or the lager brand)
I think seraphina is beautiful but doesn't go with Stella.

But that's obviously just one tiny persons opinion so crack on with it if you love it!!!

MiddletonPink · 22/11/2014 13:36

Yes Antigone nn Tiggy is lovely.

Margot?

akorda · 22/11/2014 13:45

Seraphina is a lovely name! I think the following "go" with it:

Artemis nn Artie?
Portia?
Miranda?
Daphne?
Jessamine?

I agree with pp who said that Stella doesn't go with Seraphina.
