Pet name for Miranda

Any Mirandas out there that have a shortened or affectionate version of their name?

I was at school with a Miranda who was known as Min/Minnie.

I know if one called Mirrie/Mirry/Miri- I don't know how they spell it tbh though

The only Miranda I know goes by Mandy. I love Miranda but dislike Mandy so would put me off using it.

The one I know is usually known as Mandy

I've known 5 or 6 Mirandas over the years. None of them have appreciated having their names shortened.

I think it's one of those which just shouldn't be abbreviated. It's lovely as it is and to alter it sounds silly and too try-hard.

I know three and none of them use abbreviations.

Thanks, we like the name, and wouldn't shorten it ourselves, but were trying to think ahead to what others might call her!

The Miranda I know is called Meena.

I haven't known any but my first thought was Miri

I know a Miranda as Maz

The only one I know uses a nickname from Miranda and her middle name together. You know, like Josiah Edward Barlet in the West Wing was Jed.

My niece is Mira. But mostly she is just Miranda.

I went to school with a Miranda. We called her randy Mandy. probably not what you want to hear

Miranda itself is lovely.
