It's a nice town.

Alisvolatpropiis · 12/11/2014 18:18

It makes me think of a nasal American pre-teen.

girliefriend · 12/11/2014 18:20

I think Davina mccoll has a son called this, I actually quite like it Smile

SauvignonBlanche · 12/11/2014 18:22

It's a great place to live.

I don't like that it has the word 'chest' in it. I prefer Kester.

ErrolTheDragon · 12/11/2014 23:30

Mention to your DH that Chester means 'army camp' and then start talking about It Ain't Half Hot Mum....

moonrocket · 12/11/2014 23:34

Chester Copperpot... and look what happened to him!

BitterHoneyGreenNight · 12/11/2014 23:36

As somewhere to visit? Nice.

As a name for your baby? Please don't.

FamiliesShareGerms · 12/11/2014 23:41

No!!

WrappedInABlankie · 12/11/2014 23:47

Bunny!

Leviticus · 12/11/2014 23:50

A fine name for a Labrador.

ZingOfSeven · 12/11/2014 23:54

Not if your surname is Drawers

TempsPerdu · 13/11/2014 14:40

Other than the town, it makes me think of a dog or a teddy bear. On a person, I'd imagine someone quite jolly, rotund and rosy-cheeked for some reason!

Not the worst name ever imo, but there are far better ones out there.

floatyflo · 13/11/2014 14:42

I like Chester. Makes me think of the front man in Linkin Park.

Kester? Definitely not!

DecaffTastesWeird · 13/11/2014 20:18

Oh no, I do not like it at all. I do know someone who has a little boy named Chester but that person is a bit "oh no" too!

Leeds2 · 13/11/2014 20:51

I think it is a dog's name.

saintsandpoets · 13/11/2014 20:52

Great zoo.

Only1scoop · 13/11/2014 20:53

Great name

HarrietSchulenberg · 13/11/2014 20:55

I used to live next door to a man called Chester. Which is strange as it was in London and I'm actually from the city of Chester.
Chester is a city, not a town. It has a cathedral (hoity sniff).

LifeIsBetterInFlipFlops · 13/11/2014 20:58

Lovely for a dog.

SauvignonBlanche · 13/11/2014 21:02

PIlL's dog is called Chester.

bouncingbelle · 13/11/2014 21:41

Our school bus driver was called Chester, we called him Chester Chester child molester (the poor man wasn't one).

That's all I think about when I hear the name Hmm
