Most of the others are either too popular or I don't like for no particular reason.

My ridiculous criteria are:
Nothing beginning with an s or an s sound,
Nothing ending in an ia sound ie Julia (can't think of a boys example),
Probably not 3 syllables,
Not obviously religious,
Not beginning with an f,
Not too popular,
Not going to cause issues with spelling/pronunciation.
Think that's it, sorry.

Forgot another name I love, Eric.

Love Lenny! But is it too nicknamey? Would he have to be Leonard on birth cert ? I don't liv's Leonard.

Calvin! Vinnie for short Smile

TittyBojangles · 10/11/2014 22:27

Another one I love, vinnie. But the same problem as Lenny, is it too nicknamey? I don't like Calvin and not too sure about Vincent.

I'm loving some of these suggestions, I just haven't had the "that's THE one" moment I had with ds. Not sure I will though, maybe we should just pick a name we both like and see how we feel in a few weeks about it. I'm only 28+ weeks so have time to change.

I'm just going through phases of liking one name then another which we didn't have with ds, found his name, loved it and that was that.

Vaughn
Tobias

turdfairynomore · 12/11/2014 21:01

Gene....it goes so well with Nancy-you'd have to have a third to get to use both of them!!!

MrsNuckyThompson · 12/11/2014 21:06

If you like Ted / Theodore what about Theo?

TittyBojangles · 12/11/2014 21:50

Vaughn was on my list for a while but dh doesn't like.
Theo a bit too popular for me.

TittyBojangles · 12/11/2014 21:51

Gene not for dh, though I like.
