sillymillyb · 03/11/2014 18:53

I love it :)

MrsRonBurgundy · 03/11/2014 18:53

It's on my list too. Love it

ParsleyCake · 03/11/2014 20:40

Love it, but my OH thinks its too plain sadly

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 03/11/2014 20:41

Love it would nn hattie

madammoose · 03/11/2014 20:44

Fabulous name. Positive connotations for me from reading or being read a book in childhood about a Harriet who had fun and did stuff.

BlueStarsAtNight · 03/11/2014 20:45

I love it too, it's on my list. I'm just not 100% on Hattie, as I knew one I didn't like. I prefer Hettie but not sure I could make it stick.

3pigsinblanketsandasausagerole · 03/11/2014 20:46

Harriet the spy

MsKittyKat123 · 03/11/2014 22:24

I love the name Harriet and adore the nn Hattie even more ??

LemonBreeland · 03/11/2014 22:30

I'm not crazy about Harriet but I love the nn Hattie.

PragmaticWench · 03/11/2014 22:34

DS is two weeks old but would have been Harriet if he'd been a DD. Love it.

SurfsUp1 · 03/11/2014 22:48

BlueStar could you go for Harry as a nn? Boys names as nn for girls seems to be quite popular and can be rather cute.

Ye110w · 03/11/2014 22:57

I think it's a very unattractive sound.

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 04/11/2014 00:48

Beautiful elegant and pretty name. Love Hattie as well.
Congratulations btw.

SurfsUp1 · 04/11/2014 01:48

It's one of our top contenders for DD due in March.

I think it's a lovely name but it really has to go with your surname.

Riverland · 04/11/2014 02:00

Harri or Ettie are great nn's.

SnoringNorma · 04/11/2014 02:55

I love it... as long as your surname isn't Abun!

TheGirlAtTheRockShow · 04/11/2014 08:25

Love it. Is friends DD and she is gorgeous. Love nn Hattie.

IAmAPaleontologist · 04/11/2014 08:26

beautiful

SoftSheen · 04/11/2014 08:32

Great name. No need for abbreviation- beautiful as it is.

lebkuchenlover · 04/11/2014 08:38

I find it rather harsh and unfeminine sounding, sorry.

squoosh · 04/11/2014 10:34

I think it's such an ugly name. Its current popularity truly baffles me.

Sorry.

StopBarking · 04/11/2014 18:01

Same here. It honestly reminds me of hairy toilet. A cross between the two.

What about Juliet
Similar style but a nicer sound

lebkuchenlover · 05/11/2014 15:59

Hairy toilet Grin Shock!

I agree that Juliet, Violet or Annette are much nicer than Harriet.

DecaffTastesWeird · 05/11/2014 16:11

I love Harriet.

neverenoughwine · 05/11/2014 16:46

Love it and adore Etti or Harry as an nn x
