Don?

OK, not a real name, so sorry if I've breached etiquette by posting here. We're stopping at one DS, who has a fairly unexceptional name. However, the other night I had a vivid dream that I had just given birth to a second DS... who we called Don. Maybe the first pregnancy killed off some part of my brain responsible for making sensible choices, but I think it's a brilliant name. If I had a second DS, I would absolutely call him Don. What do you think? Does anyone else want to use it so it doesn't go to waste? Grin

Quixote.

Yes... he'd have to have either that or 'Corleone' as a middle name. Which makes it even cooler imho.

My dad's name was Don and he was the best, kindest most brilliant man in the world so I'm a bit biased Smile

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 19/10/2014 21:00

Excuse Smile So was he short for Donald, or was it just Don like my imaginary DS2?

Draper.

Yes it was Donald, but he was always called Don - I'd got it in mind if dd was a ds, but she wasn't Smile

Alisvolatpropiis · 20/10/2014 19:27

Corleone

WerewolfBarMitzvah · 20/10/2014 19:31

It makes me think of that scene in Bruno where he tells this homophobic teat 'that was such a Samantha thing to say' (from SATC) and he replies 'No, it's not I'm Donny' in a Southern drawl.

Actually Donald is a cute name. Due a comeback.

WerewolfBarMitzvah · 20/10/2014 19:32

Ach twat, not teat!

Memphisbelly · 20/10/2014 19:44

Im due a DS soon and Donnie is one of my choices Blush

moxon · 20/10/2014 20:13

Donnie Darko?

JustDrive · 20/10/2014 20:33

Go for Lyndon, lovely name!

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 20/10/2014 20:35

Memphis YES! Go for it! This thread has shown there are no bad Dons (apart from the homophobic teat and arguably also Corleone)
