Catrin Annie or Niamh Ellen? Middle names are family names. Which do you prefer?

I like them both. At a push, and there's not much in it, I like Niamh Ellen.

Catrin Annie. She sounds like loads of fun!

BikeRunSki · 19/10/2014 08:20

Very hard call that!

I was going to say Catrin Annie because she won't have to spell it, but she probably will spend a lot of time saying "Catrin, not Catherine".

Catrin Annie

Thanks guys. I am swaying towards Catrin Annie as I like the welsh link with my mums side of the family. We already have a Beatrice (almost always known as Bea) - do you think those names go well together? Smile

I prefer Catrin, but think it flows much better with Ellen as a middle name. Catrin Annie is a bit too many n's all together, and rolls together as if it's one word.

BlueStarsAtNight · 19/10/2014 16:49

I wouldn't say Catrin and Beatrice are a very similar style, but then neither are Niamh and Beatrice. Either combination sounds fine together though.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 19/10/2014 16:53

Niamh Ellen is lovely.

ACheesePuff · 19/10/2014 16:54

I think Catrin Anne is better than Annie, less of a mouthful.

Lunastarfish · 19/10/2014 21:10

I know a Niamh Ellen, it's lovely
