Hi all which do you prefer? I already have a Finley (we call Finn).. Any other names similar to my two suggestions would be helpful too x

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Wonc · 17/10/2014 14:59

Neither. Sorry. Russell Brand. Confused

moxon · 17/10/2014 15:00

Robin by a looooooong shot!

AlleyCat11 · 17/10/2014 15:02

Robin. Russell is Russell Brand.

ByTheWishingWell · 17/10/2014 15:02

I quite like Robin (even more for a girl).
The only Russell I've ever known was horrible, which might be putting me off it. I can imagine Russ would quite cute on a child though.

squoosh · 17/10/2014 15:03

Robin.

Russell wears slacks and has cake crumbs on his polyester tie.

kate1296 · 17/10/2014 15:06

haha yes I see what you all mean.. I preferred Robin but don't love Rob for short.. I love Russ but not as much a Russell lol! :)

FreckledLeopard · 17/10/2014 15:08

Robin. I think it's a good name!

Molotov · 17/10/2014 15:09

I love the name Robin. I love Russell Brand, despite him being called Russell Smile

ButterflyOfFreedom · 17/10/2014 15:41

I love Robyn for a girl but for some reason find Robin a bit 'wet' for a boy.
Russ is ok - better than Russell.
Ross is even nicer.

Rowan
Rhys
Ray
Roland
Roger???!!

squoosh · 17/10/2014 15:42

Roland?

Muahahahaha.

WanderingTrolley1 · 17/10/2014 15:44

Robin.

TempsPerdu · 17/10/2014 15:44

Definitely, definitely Robin (although I also like Butterfly's suggestion of Rowan).

Russell is awful, and Russ as nickname is not enough to redeem it!

Brodicea · 17/10/2014 15:51

Robin - Russell makes me think of rustle

Only1scoop · 17/10/2014 15:52

Robin don't like

Russell is ok

RunnerHasbeen · 17/10/2014 15:52

Robin is lovely but I love the nickname Rusty for Russell.

KatoPotato · 17/10/2014 15:53

I have a Robin. He's awesome.

TinyMonkey · 17/10/2014 16:51

Robin's a nice name, but it makes me think of Robin Thicke.

Russell is wimpy.

Sophronia · 17/10/2014 18:03

Robin.

princessdave · 17/10/2014 20:37

Robin. My DH Smile

Nice name, rarely meet any others and no worries over spelling or pronunciation.

Aherdofmims · 17/10/2014 23:03

Sorry, neither. Prefer robin to Russell though.

I like Robert if that helps? Robin was originally short form of Robert.

BikeRunSki · 17/10/2014 23:36

Robin. I know lots of nice ones aged 5-60. Don't really like Russell as a first name.

JustSayNoNoNo · 18/10/2014 01:56

Don't get what's wrong with Russell. It's perfectly normal in Scotland. I know a few.
