How is Kaya pronounced?

I'm not considering using the name, it's just I've never been quite sure if it is Kay-ah or Ky-uh as in Maya with a K.

It's a Turkish Cypriot name that means Mountain, pronounced 'Kai-ah' HTH

I've only ever seen the name on person, Kaya Scodelario who was in Skins when I was a teenager and have never heard her name said aloud irl.

Kay-a. Even if you try use another pronunciation of it it will most probably wind up being Kay-a.

I'd guess Kay-ah, but it could be Kigh-a. I'd use Kaia or Kaiya instead.
