Jacob, Joseph, Joshua.

Charlotte.

As a sibling for Daniel.

All fine. I like Jacob best of the three. Charlotte is nice.

ArsenicChaseScream · 16/10/2014 18:00

Joseph! Smile

ilovelamp82 · 16/10/2014 18:00

Like Jacob amd Joshua. Like Charlotte. Not a huge fan of Joseph but that's just my taste.

Bowlersarm · 16/10/2014 18:01

Joseph (if you like Joe)

Charlotte is lovely

Pyjamaramadrama · 16/10/2014 18:02

I'm swinging between Jacob and Joseph.

I like the shortened versions too so would have no problem with a Jake and Joe for short.

Joshua is slightly overused (sorry no offence intended), but I think it's a lovely name still and a safe bet.

All really nice. Depends on your surname for which I'd choose.

I like them all but would probably avoid Joseph as I do not like any of the nn. I love Jacob, nn Jake!

Charlotte is great, I would use Charlie rather than Lottie but that is just me

squeak2392 · 16/10/2014 18:30

Charlotte's lovely :) Joseph is my favourite boys name, although Joshua's good too.

Never liked Jacob tbh.

Leeds2 · 16/10/2014 18:31

I prefer Joseph (Joe). If he were mine, he would be Joe on the birth certificate.

Not keen on Joshua.

Alisvolatpropiis · 16/10/2014 18:34

I like them all except Joshua.

moxon · 16/10/2014 18:38

Not keen on Joshua evee, although I don't mind Josh on its own. I'd probably go for Jacob, but definitely not Jake - so we would thus be left with Joseph, which is perfectly lovely, as is Joe or Sep. And Charlotte will be perfect with Daniel.

TheBookofRuth · 16/10/2014 18:38

I have recently had a little Joshua and since then EVERY. LITTLE. BOY I've met has been called Joshua. I knew it was popular but apparently it's the only boys name in the Home Counties and Greater London area.

This wouldn't have happened if I'd been allowed to call him Barnaby. Hmm

BackforGood · 16/10/2014 18:45

I like all 4 - as long (as you say you are) you are happy with the shortenings.

No help here then Grin

Pyjamaramadrama · 16/10/2014 19:08

Thank you, lots of different opinions then, glad that everyone seems to like Charlotte. I agree I'd probably use Charlie for short rather than Lottie.

All 3 boys names would go well with the surname and actually form a nice set of initials with the boys middle name I'd be using.

Hmm.

there are three Joshua's in my sons nursery class.

I love Joseph.

TheCraicDealer · 16/10/2014 19:20

Not Joshua because, a) it's been really overused since Maxine used it in Corrie c.1999, and b) it's the name of a U2 album. Jacob I'm ambivalent about, Joseph I like best. Baby Joe? Come on! The cuteness!

Pyjamaramadrama · 16/10/2014 19:59

I do like baby Joe Grin

All the boys names are good, but I think I like Joseph the most.

Charlotte's also a nice name, but Daniel and Charlotte together do make me think of the tv show Revenge (2 of the characters are siblings with those names). However, I expect no one will remember Revenge in a few years time.

DramaAlpaca · 16/10/2014 22:30

I like them all a lot, so I'm not much help Smile

Montsti · 17/10/2014 05:31

I like them all. Love Charlotte nn.Lottie (I have one!). Probably like Jacob beg but not Keen on Jake at all nor do I particularly like Josh but do like Joshua so maybe Joseph??

KenDoddsDadsDog · 17/10/2014 05:45

Joseph defo !

RebeccaCloud9 · 17/10/2014 09:55

LOVE! Wish I could use any of those boys names but DP disagrees (for association with a few random people he barely knows, not because they're not good, grr!).
